Can be used on motorways. This towing bar is Brand New Manufactured from 50mm and 40mm box section. The telescopic design enables easy connection and compact storage making it easy to store in your car boot. Length when connected is Approx 1.8 Metres. One end is fitted with a standard 50mm towing coupling that will fit most cars/vans/4x4s in the UK. The other end is fitted with a heavy duty shackle. Both pieces of the bar fix together using a simple strong pin and clip through the centre to hold it firmly in place. It is at this point that the smaller section can be rotated by 90 or 180 degrees to fit to the towed car towing eye (yes some car manufacturers are a different way on). With this 3 piece set you also get an alternative front half that has a shackle fitted to enable you to tow using a car without a towball. This simply connects to your towing eye. This compact design is ideal as it simply pops in to the boot of most cars easily. To use is simple as 123. 1. Screw shackle through the towing eye on the vehicle you are going to be pulling 2.
