I sold the provided tap on eBay and connected the filter to our hot tap, so I don't imagine you should have any issue connecting to your 3way tap. **Q: Good morning, I want to know how many liters of water can be filtered with a set of filters ?** A: Hi, ISpring recommends changing filters once every 6 months. I did not like the idea of changing filters that are still Ok. Several things to take into consideration: 1. the (lack of) quality of the water to filter. 2. if you have any filtering installation before the iSpring. 3. the regular maintenance of the iSpring. In my particular case, here is what I did: 1. water quality to filter is poor. Water is hard and there is mud from time to time due to old pipes breaking in the village. 2. I have several filters before the iSpring. One 50 microns, one 10 microns and then a resin system to remove calcium and magnesium from the water ( classical one with salt to regenerate the resin). They remove a lot of cheap already. Then finally comes the iSpring. 3. Regarding the maintenance of Osmosis systems, it is recommended to flush the membrane on a regular basis. I do it once a month. You need to add one valve in the circuit for that, not included in the iSpring setup. Check YouTube. I did some more additions. I placed manometers: One before the first filter of the iSpring and one after the third one. As the three first filters will fill-up with dirt, there will be more pressure drop while water flows through. I also do visual control of first filter, the transparent one. Changes color? Time to replace. More important I invested in a double meter that measures ppm before and after the reverse Osmosis membrane. In my case 127 ppm before. When pre-filters lose efficiency this number goes up. And after the membrane it should stay close to 0. If it does not, time to change membrane and all pre-filters and probably post processing cartridge that adds minerals. I also added a water counter right before the iSpring in the conditions above, I passed 7 cubic meters without issues in one year, no filter change needed so far. The UV light, you can see if it works in the dark. Last addition, I have put a T on the pipe that goes to the tank, a valve and a special cartridge to remove the last particles that still may be in the water. This cartridge is black when OK and yellow when content needs replacement. They describe it as an option in iSpring system but I did not find it on sale. So I bought one from another brand on Amazon. I use the valve and cartridge to produce "distilled" or rather demineralized water for clothes ironing. Last thing, the tap provided does not look so good on the kitchen... and you need to punch an additional hole in the sink. But Amazon sells kitchen tap with two control knobs. One for normal warm/cold water and one for filtered water in the same tap. In chrome, looking good. This system is the best investment I have done in years. It changed our life. No more bottles and all the plastic waste. The water tastes real good. You drink as much as you want. If interested in the additions I made to the system, check YouTube. **Q: Hi.
