Loved my set so much family member asked me to order set for her. Knives are VERY SHARP. Sharpener included in storage block great feature. Including scissors great also. Among red knife choices, these seemed to have the best reviews, so I decided to try them. I am frankly BLOWN AWAY by the quality and usability of this amazing knife set. Be careful, though, if you want serrated steak knives you need to get the correct model number. You need to search a bit to find them. (McCook MC34--we did.) I love to cook and these knifes are heavy, but not too heavy, extremely sharp and well-weighted to hold easily. Each knife has been incredible. For comparison, I one sent back a set of Cutco knives because they did not seem like a value for the price. I will only order McCook as wedding and graduation gifts in the future. My set came with a cute little bamboo cutting board that has been great for small jobs.
