Great value for the price and time devoted to reading and completing lessons. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you have purchased ZBrush you have just aimed, if you want to shoot... in here you'll find some powerful bullets *by R***A on September 28, 2012* I Bought the Zbrush and I had the feeling with all the tutorials of pixologic, I could accomplish some goals with the software, but I was kind of lost, I guess the path to knowledge could be longer if you don't want to invest on it. So I looked for the best book available and I guess I found it. The book explains step by step how to make the most of the tool. all the complex path to get to the exact palettes and tools to get the job done it's decrypted here. The firs chapters revolve around sculpting a figure. A Dragon. If you are into Z brush, probably this will be something you'll want to get your hands on. from the basic sculpting process to the most detailed finishings that will take your work to the next level. I Have not finished the book yet. because I have done and repeated the first chapters and I feel coming back has reinforced my knowledge on the software and on the things I can do with it. I purchased the Kindle version and it's been great. But the big problem I faced was the the DVD is missing. Even though they advertised the product with a downloadable version I have not found any link to get me to the files used in the tutorials. This isn't a big deal, considering you create the files at the same time the author does. The problem is when he uses some random examples prepared ahead to explain some techniques.makes it really difficult to find an example of the ones offered in the demos gallery with similar attributes to what he uses. Even with this you can pull it off. It takes longer but you can make it. If you can get the physical book it's better I guess, not that comfortable when you are working and following the examples at the same time but you'll get what the cover pledges. The program is like having a bazooka, without a proper instruction you'll probably be able to shoot with a small gun randomly. Spend some money andin your education and you'll be investing in a brighter future having all it's necessary to use all the power the tool has to offer. ZBrush is a complicated tool to master and it requires practice and to be really committed if you want to excel. This is a great book. a flash light in long and dark tunnel.
