I have a pretty sizable drawer literally filled with USB cables, chargers SATA cables, etc. I certainly would need more than just one of these to get things all organized however this is good start. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get a bunch of these and then designate them for specific types of cables and throw a label on there. Any way the cables are held in place quite well. I have not tested the waterproof claim of this bag but the material itself certainly seems water resistant to say the least. Not so sure I would go dunking this bag into a bucket of water, but I think it will resist the average spill or even a drop into a puddle. What I don't like about this is that it was not easy to get the cables into the bands, I expect that things have to be tight but some of the slots were pretty ridiculous. It would not be convenient to be frequently removing and placing cables back into this bag. It’s such a pain that the bag actually ripped a bit when I was putting cables into this thing the first day I got it. The rip will not limit the use of the bag in any way to me however the rip could extend and eventually the bag will probably fall apart.
