They open and close smoothly, and the lever does not wiggle or feel flimsy in any way. I had a contractor install five of them already, and none of them exhibited any leaks or other problems. The ferrules wrapped onto the copper pipes smoothly. The nuts threaded onto the valves comfortably. All dimensions for connections to inlet and outlet were spot-on.
