Remember that this product is a no rinse product and requires only a light mist to cover a surface to be effective. Never spray and then immediately wipe the product to spread it. You will be defeating its purpose. I’ve slowly built up from using it only in loads of 100% cotton whites to using it with all sorts of fabrics in all colors. I have not had any issues with it fading or damaging any items. I’ve also used it in a sprayer to remove mildew from siding, and in my attic after squirrels got in and nested in some insulation.
