It is easy to use. Just fill it, put the top on it and hit the button intermittently until you reach the consistency you desire. It does neat and vegetables easily and will puree even the raw veggies. We bought it to make our own dog food and it has been a fantastic purchase. The glass and stainless steel bowls are strong and thick and the overall size is shorter than a blender and stores easily. I do recommend washing it immediately after use because it can become difficult to clean if the food dries on it. We've been using it for almost a month now and are quite pleased with its performance and ease of cleaning. Especially how easy it is to clean. We've used this more already than a heavy Cuisinart food processor that we had for 10 years. Because of the difficulty of cleaning, it just sat in a cupboard until we finally gave it away.We had one issue. The lid gasket had developed a tear in it, so we contacted customer support and they were great.
