Its like the finish of either the peg or hole is rough. The picture in Amazon looks great, but beware. The pegs are tiny in diameter and require careful handling. I believe that I would have enjoyed it more if the triangle were 5 inches wide and if the pegs were bigger in diameter, maybe 3/16" or 1/4". I'm afraid if a peg rolls away, I'll never find it.
