I washed it and dried it but it still has a bitter stale scent to the cotton fabric. So what to do? A fabric spray of course! A few spritzes on my quilt and the whole room is scented with a warm, rich floral scent. I think this scent is really pretty and I appreciate the wonderful fragrance. I haven't tried it on my bedsheets or pillows because it seems enough just to have it sprayed on my quilt. It doesn't seem to stain anything either but try on a small section first if you are worried. I'm keeping the bottle of spray in my closet so I have it on hand to spray on the quilt whenever needed.
