Review: great for backyards - I bought these for our backyard this summer, not expecting too much because I haven't had much luck with solar lights so far. I was very surprised at how great they have been! We needed three strings to line our entire back fence, and they are the perfect amount of light. Once you charge the solar panels for a few days before the first use, they light up without issue each night after. I have them in an area of our yard that has some sun most days, but the battery seems to hold a charge really well on the days when there is no sun. I would definitely recommend these lights because they were very easy to set up, you can sync several strings together with one remote (without some long crazy set up on how to do it), and they are a middle of the road price so you aren't spending a fortune. Would definitely buy again!

Wow - really quite beautiful! This exceeded my expectation. 50 feet of string lights, with a solar panel and a remote control. Super easy to set up - install the panel and string the lights! They go on at disk and off 7 hours later (default) or can set for 2, 4, 8 hours. Can also set at medium (default), low or high brightness. Only criticism is they don't come with instructions on how to control them - but remarkably I emailed customer support and they replied in 24 hours! Easier than I expected, though wish they came with clear explanation.
