I'm 5'10 and about 85kg, I wear 39/40 in suit jackets for reference, and I definitely wouldn't have wanted the smaller size. The trouser calfs are very tight, and there's no stretch in them, although plenty of space in the thighs as they baloon out at the top (drawstring waist). The bottoms feel very cheap, but they are fine - much rather the money was spent on the top and scarf, which both look very good.
