A bit pricey, so look for sale - For our family, the main reason we are using those is to minimise stress and anxiety. No longer do we need to spent hours searching (or stressing) over "have I left keys outside", "did I drop the wallet", etc. In our case, it also involves "where did out RC helicopter dropped in the field" :-). Small, unobtrusive, with remarkable distance - they are great. Dual alarm (using BLE locator app OR sound) is perfect. They are all sealed, which means they could be used in the open outdoors. As with any things of this nature, we wish they were cheaper - but there are regular sales, so just wait and snap at discount. In our household, we use it for keys, wallets, money clips, purses, garden tools, RC toys, pet collars - everything. One particularly useful feature for us is proximity warning - the app will sound automated alarm if you get too far from a particular tile.
