Works well for our first outing running 150 miles over Labor Day (using on the back of a pontoon boat) to an Android in the car. Will keep you posted. Need to mention that the App would not work on my Galaxy S7. So I purchased a used Galaxy Note 4 (did not install a sim card) and it works well with that. Since there is no phone number to call for technical support, despite the fact the instructions tell you to contact Customer Service if you receive the error for a solution, I finally found an email. So, I sent an email to which I received the following reply: "This error means this unit is not compatible with you smart device. You can try from other smart device or return it." I was able to get it to work on an older Android phone, so I need to test it on the road before determining if I'm returning or not.
