For whatever reason, the internal Bluetooth module stopped working. I think it was a driver issue after updating to the latest Steam OS. I use an Xbox Series controller with my micro PC and I couldn't get it to work due to the failed internal Bluetooth. I picked this up and plugged it into one of my PC's USB ports. Steam OS immediately detected it without issues and I could pair my Xbox controller. I haven't noticed any signal dropouts or latency issues when sitting about 6-7ft away.
