It cost more than what I usually pay, but I had a sample and I fell in love. It does taste like sugar, is a beautiful color, is very soft and doesn't need much reapplying. It costs a bit more than what I'd usually pay for lip gloss but it's worth it. My lips are super sensitive and usually squeeze-bottle type glosses cause irritation, but there's none of that here. Give it a whirl. It also looks good over lipstick, but I'd pick something dryer or a lip stain because this is super moisturized. Review: If you like Benefit Sugarbomb blush, this gloss just might be for you. I don't wear blush often, but when I do it's Sugarbomb. So I thought I couldn't go wrong with the gloss, and I was right. I was looking for something to ween me off of the matte nude lipsticks which I usually choose, and this lip gloss was a good choice. It has just the right amount of shine, shimmer and color to be a great "your lips but better" color. It's also not too glossy or too shiny, and it's definitely not sticky or gloppy. So overall, a really good choice for a neutral, everyday look. I imagine that it would go with most skin tones, just like the blush. The reason for 4 stars is lasting power, which is pretty minimal. At a retail price of $16, I expect a lot more out of a lip gloss but thankfully I paid much less here. I'm glad that I have this, but I prefer Sally Hansen Volumizing Lip Shield for an everyday look. The SH glides on like butter, lasts for hours, and has SPF 15 to boot.
