Unlike other sun creams it absorbs into the skin so no visible residue on the skin. It lasts even when you go for a swim. Lasts up to 5 hours so great to use on kids. It was developed for ex cancer patients skin so is great for all skin types. The foamy nature makes it easy to spread and apply. Can't speak highly enough of Sun mousse. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective, long lasting and skin friendly *by J***9 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 22 July 2014* The Sun Mousse (previously called Proderm/Bergaderm) is the best sun protection I've ever found.It doesn't rub or wash off easily - so doesn't need re-applying as frequently.In our experience, it provides much better protection than other 'water resistant' creams with the same theoretical SPF, as other creams are so easily rubbed off just lying on a towel, and by swimming costume straps and seams etc. whereas the mousse is absorbed into the skin and stays effective for longer.It is good for sensitive skin - I know 2 people with eczema who swear by it.And it is not sticky or greasy, not fragranced, and pleasant to apply.There are some disadvantages:It is expensive - but lasts well so it's better value than it looks.It isn't easy to get hold of - Amazon is the easiest place at the time of writing.And if you go back to 'normal' suncreams, you risk getting burnt if you assume they will stay on like this mousse!The formulation has changed recently (2014), and this new one is a slightly lighter mousse, but seems to be just as effective and skin friendly.
