Review: Works great - I tried a coworker's and was instantly hooked. I strip mostly 3/0 so I removed the other stripping heads (1 set screw each) to lighten it, and so that I can look inside the tool and see exactly how far I've stripped. Bonus - in this state, it can also be used as a tool for making sharp bends in wire (just stick the wire through and crank on it with the rounded edges of the tool). Makes very clean ends with no damage to the conductors and saves your wrist a bit as well. If you strip a lot of big wire, you'll love this thing. Also I read a review that says it doesn't work well on simpull wire due to the lubricated outer jacket - well I am here to say that you can strip that stuff no problem once you get the hang of it. This is due to the thickness of the insulation. Something to note is you'll want to score where you want to stop stripping since it's hollow and can pass-through the other side. **Q: Can you buy and change the end pieces that determine what wire size it strips?** A: Yes there is blades you can buy and also change the location to what you prefer. They can go up to 750 MCM **Q: Will this tool stripe large metric conductor cable from abroad for example 240mm?** A: I can't give you an accurate answer. Think of this as a large mechanical pencil sharpener. If you use the correct size wire in the corresponding hole it will strip...like a pencil sharpener would sharpener a pencil. Also think how you spiral peal a potato or orange. All that said...you can take, say a slightly smaller gauge wire and strip it in a larger diameter gauge hole but there will be some manipulation of the wire needed to strip it correctly. This thing is awesome and wish I'd of had it 20 years ago. My arthritis in my hands might not be so bad. **Q: Will this work on actual Cable for the Cable company?** A: It won’t do a multi conductor cable like a 901 or 401 cable but anything similar to thhn or xxhw’s jacket thickness it’ll work. When you use it, make sure that you start the blade where the insulation any give it two full turns, so you can gauge how many times you need to turn and stop. You can gauge how many times you need to do it, because you can't just continue; you have to start over for it to work correctly.
