This visor easily slides into my hair, I tuck in parts of it around my ears, and when I'm done golfing, I can run my fingers through my hair and scrunch back my curls to restore my hair style. It's not perfect, but it's better for me than a hat. It's very comfortable for me, and I have a larger head than most. This visor has a much larger "clip" than some plastic varieties out there, but this one works for me. I was not interested in the plastic looking visors. It also has a sweatband inside, that helps on those hot days. I have not tried to wash the sweat band, but when I do, I'll probably try to use a wet sponge to dab it clean. This does not look like it could be washed in a sink, maybe it could, but I will try to spot clean it when needed. I kept the plastic bag it came in to keep it clean between uses or while I store it in a large compartment in my golf bag. It seems very well made and is lightweight and easy to wear.
