The issue with water based paints and rollers is that a bubbling or orange peel finish can occur, in which case you can lightly brush these bumps/bubbles out immediately after rollering. I think this is called "laying-off", but I stand to be corrected on this. I've used this technique for water based gloss (different rollers) and it's still quicker than brushing alone, and provides a better consistency of application. **Q: Is this good for hard wax oil on wood floors?** A: Never used a hard wax oil but Iā€™m sure these heads should do the job **Q: Hi can they be used with emulsion paint** A: Yes - no problem. Emulsion paint is water based, the product will work well and better still an easy clean up & potential re-use.
