I read every single word and read it cover to cover in just 2 days. It was exciting like a novel and I just was so blown away at the vulnerability that the author showed throughout. It was a very long journey but the outcome, was so personally rewarding.. that the family became closer and that they realized that God was in control and wanted them to have a more simple life. What a great lesson for all of us!!!I would highly recommend Jim Dotson's story to anyone who wants to fight any big thing in life: Whether it be a corporate thing, or even healing a disease or losing weight, The lessons of endurance are GREAT for all of us, and being HUMBLED is a very common lesson as well. Author Jim Dotson describes in vivid detail the pain and humiliation he endured when he lost his corporate job suddenly and unfairly immediately after adopting a child from Russia. The ensuing legal battle quickly draws in the reader as we read about David (Dotson) taking on the giant (Pfizer).After reading the scenario surrounding his job termination, I found myself marveling that any company would be surprised by a lawsuit given the behavior of the managers and personnel involved. I'm sure many who have suffered injustices at the hands of poor management will relate to this story.Even more compelling was the personal insights Dotson gained on his painful journey.
