I bought two, one is perfect however the other siips on the serrated rail which is the reason for 4 stars. This was due to a poorly finished casting of the sliding jaw. There was a lump of excess iron on the edge of the rail hole stopping it gripping and the hole not profiled particularly well. The jaw does come completely off the rail which is a bit of a nuisance but I will hopefully fix this. I filed the burr off and cleaned the hole up and it now grips fine. Of course this did spoil the paint which doesn't bother me. Normally I might have sent it back for replacement but I needed both for a specific job so didn't want to wait. I'm quite used to buying bargain tools and making them work so this was not a deal breaker for me.
