This is much better. The mouse moves effortlessly, which means my cursor moves faster on screen. I lowered my sensitivity because of how easy/fast the mouse moved on the pad, which also gave me more control over my shot. The mouse cord clip is genius, and overall the pad is very stable on my table. My cloth pad was getting dirty/not reading well pretty often, this has been much more consistant read and easier to keep clean. I did a lot of research on hard pads before I decided on this product and I think i made a great choice.If I had any thing bad to say about this mousepad, i would say that i wish the pad was about an inch or two inches bigger. It's fairly small for an XL pad and compared to my old 5$ cloth pad, but I haven't run into any issues playing on this size pad. As always, the surface is textured perfectly for high precision work and with regular cleaning (once a month, maybe) and constant use (10+ hours per day) there is no sign of wear and no loss of precision from the surface.The rubberish base holds the desk/table surface great (far better than their aluminum bases feet) and I have not had a single slip incident, despite my workspace not being the cleanest.At this point I am so happy with Func products in general that I don't use anything else. The price might seem high (really though...it's not expensive), but this is a mouse pad that lasts for literally years and the only reason I have had to buy another one is because I didn't want to use anything else. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice, hard smooth surface *by J***D on Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2015* Nice, hard smooth surface, and the only mousepad I'm aware of that has a mouse cord clip so you don't have any drag from the cord. Used to have an old Func Archetype, but the surface partially wore away after maybe 5 years or so, making it not as smooth, and collecting stuff on it regularly. I kept using it for another 5 years after that for a total of about 10 years. This mousepad reminds me of how great my old one was originally, but this has a MUCH larger surface, so make sure you have plenty of desk space! Otherwise, I love it and use a Logitech G502 with it.
