Knowing that most of America will be staying home and practicing social distancing due to COVID -19, our engineers have designed a smaller version of our top selling 26 inch “Island Breeze” fan specifically geared toward homeowners looking to cool their backyard during the hot summer months. The COVID-19 Virus can keep us at home, but it cannot stop us from being cool and comfortable. Our new “Tropic Breeze” offers a 20” fan blade, with 90 degree oscillation and a 10 gallon water tank which produces a cold fog comparable to a high pressure mister at a fraction of the price due to its patented centrifugal mist technology, a true breakthrough in the science of thermal dynamics. Each unit can operate for 8-10 hours on one fill up of water. With 3” oversized wheels, dual action swivel and a telescopic pole, this unit is adjustable between 60” and 76”. Utilizing a 3 speed, fully sealed motor the “Tropic Breeze” produces light wind gusts on speed 1 that are brisk and efficient without making a perceptible noise. Need some extra firepower? No problem! Speeds 2 and 3 give effective and powerful bursts of air 20-25 feet away while our motor remains almost whisper quiet. The “Tropic Breeze” Portable Misting Fan comes in either Black or White and provides an innovative, stylish and efficient way to stay cool and truly enjoy your patio areas. ## Features - ART DECO MISTING FAN: A cooling mister fan suitable for outdoor use with low noise output and equipped with 3” Oversized Swivel Wheels and a safety break. You’ll have no problem transporting this portable fan with mist to your patio and backyard, or pretty much anywhere you want to use it. The 8 to 10 -hour run time means you won’t have to worry about this pedestal fan running out of juice and leaving you to sweat. - GOOD PERFORMANCE: Our oscillating misting fan is constructed using high quality materials that not only look good but are highly functional too. This outdoor rated motor and robust misting fan is an investment worth making as you won’t have to worry about replacing it anytime soon. The copper motor is capable of covering 25 feet of outdoor space comfortably and it can go even further than that in calmer climates. - 3-SPEED QUIET OPERATION: This commercial mist fan is nice and quiet! You can sleep peacefully on your patio and not have to worry about the buzzing, clicking, or vibrating noise that many fans make. The 3-speed operation allows you to choose the setting you want so the temperature is always just right. - MORE THAN A COOLING SYSTEM: While the best place to use this cool mist fan is outside on patios and backyards, as well as during activities, it’s much more versatile as well. With 10 gallon water tank, you can use it to mist tropical plants and give them the high humidity environment they need to survive. - EASILY ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT AND TELESCOPIC NECK: The good thing about this camping fan is how easily it adjusts to the height you want. Height ranges from as short as 60” and as tall as 76.” This model also comes with a 90 Degree oscillating head. The side-to-side movement helps the standing fan cover a wider range and cools down the area faster. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Brand | Cool-Off | | Color | Midnight Black | | Product Dimensions | 59.69 x 59.18 x 48.01 cm; 19.5 kg | | Power / Wattage | 500 watts | | Voltage | 110 Volts | | Material | Copper | | Number of Speeds | 3 | | Special Features | Oscillating, Portable | | Item Weight | 19.5 Kilograms | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Cool-Off - **Colour:** Midnight Black - **Electric fan design:** Floor Fan - **Power source:** Corded Electric - **Style:** Industrial - **Product dimensions:** 59.7D x 59.2W x 48H centimeters - **Room type:** Lawn, Patio - **Special features:** Oscillating, Portable - **Recommended uses for product:** Cooling - **Mounting type:** Freestanding,Pedestal Fan ## Images ![10 Gallon water tank Tropic Breeze Portable Misting Fan with 90 Degree Oscillation (Midnight Black) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71isdHvuXqL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Do you have to set it up as either/or stationary/oscillation or can you use it both ways without having to change that arm?** A: We only use as oscillating **Q: How long is the electric cord?** A: 10 foot power cord **Q: Is it best to use distilled water?** A: If you have very hard water with a lot of minerals, I would say to use some kind of filtrated water. I have super hard water and I have to use CLR all the time to keep the mineral build up off. I bought a water filter for my hose and it helps as well. As for the unit itself, I think it’s great and does work well in the 115 degree weather in SoCal desert! **Q: what area will it cover? 300 s.f? 600 s.f.?** A: We use this while under a 10' umbrella that covers a tables and 4 chairs. Or adjust it and then the table with 4 large chairs under a 12' umbrella are covered as well. It covers this whole area. How would one measure the s.f. coverage...it does all we need/want it to do! ## Frequently Bought Together - Cool-Off™ 10 Gallon water tank Tropic Breeze Portable Misting Fan with 90 Degree Oscillation (Midnight Black) - J&C Fan Cover 420D Misting Fan Cover Waterproof Spray Cooling Fan Cover Industrial Fan Dust Cover Outdoor Water Misting Fan Covers Patio Water Tank Electric Fans Case Heavy Duty Large (No Fan - Orbit 10109W Mist Calcium Inhibitor Filter --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/659990825-10-gallon-water-tank-tropic-breeze-portable-misting-fan-90](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/659990825-10-gallon-water-tank-tropic-breeze-portable-misting-fan-90) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
