It is not as hard or as smooth as Becker's latex spackle, but is more flexible making it much better for flexible and softer surfaces like soft woods and fills for painting restoration. The colors for the most part are a good place to start but will almost certainly need to be integrated. Adhesion is fair to good on porous surfaces not so great on high fired ceramics and other vitreous surfaces. It does case harden when applied thickly, but that is par for the course with these types of fillers.
