They popped right into place effortlessly—installation couldn't have been easier. I know some reviewers claim you can wash and reuse them, but that isn't the case.These are enzyme filters designed to neutralize allergens. After about four months, the enzymes naturally break down. If you wash the filters and put them back in, they no longer serve their primary purpose. While they might capture some larger particles, the filter area is so small compared to the main air intake that it's likely ineffective. Their job is to trap allergens with enzymes; once the enzymes are gone, the filters provide no real benefit.They work and do exactly what they're supposed to do. If you own a Mitsubishi unit, these are definitely the filters to buy.
