Review: Good quality, works as advertised! - Works perfectly! Initially I installed a 12v fuel pump, thinking it had a built-in shut off valve, it didn’t. So, I installed this shutoff valve in-between the aux tank and the 12v fuel pump. I wired both to the same switch, both- open and pump at the same time. Works perfectly.
Review: Valve is just what I needed - I am using this 1/2" valve for my diesel xfer tank in my Ram 3500. Works great along side a little 12v pump to refill the smaller truck tank faster than relying on gravity feed alone. It does get pretty warm to the touch. So far no good. I will update this review if necessary.

**Q: Hello! This valve can be used for gravity-feed applications?  i.e. 0 psi required behind, correct?  Saw 0 psi in desc, wanted to doublecheck thanks!**
A: Yes this valve can be installed in gravity feed applications, because I installed on gravity feed diesel tank, and it worked great.  Just need to double check that valve has large enough orifice to supply needed flow with very low inlet pressure.

**Q: can they be run continuoulsy or is over heating a problem?   Also, normally closed means no fluid can flow through, right?**
A: I run them on an agriculture sprayer. I have 50 rows of grapes and it takes me 2 minutes per row, so they are on for two minutes and then off for about 20 seconds while I make a turn and then back on for the next row. They do get hot, but they work. Yes normally closed is off, no flow.

**Q: Could this be used for liquid co2 straight out of a co2 siphon cylinder?**
A: Minimum operating temp is -14F so I'd say that's a hard NO

**Q: is it okay to mount is sideways or upside down?**
A: Mounting orientation should not matter for this device.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just what I needed for an electronic, kitchen faucet, valve.

I am tired of trying to turn on a small to medium flow, water stream, in my kitchen sink. I currently have a Moen faucet that prefers to come on full blast every time I try to use it. It's one of those one handle ones. I have to fiddle with it to get a moderate stream. I tend to use a lot more water than I want, every time I turn it on. I thought I would tap into the faucet spout with a warm water bypass controlled by this 1/4" electric valve. I have a Chinese temp controlled mixing valve that provides hot water to the valve and I put a tee on the spout line with a check valve on the output to keep regular faucet handle water from back flowing into the electronic valve, when not in use. I installed a push button on the wall behind the sink to turn on the valve. The 1/4" valve is large enough to produce a warm water stream at about half the full flow of the regular kitchen sink faucet preventing me from having to mess with the handle so I save about half the water that I used to use. One important thing is that I installed a hot water pump loop to the water heater so I don't have to run the hot water full blast for 30 seconds or more to get, almost instant, hot water, so the electric valve works even better. This little innovation makes using the kitchen sink much more enjoyable while I cook and clean. I can't wait to see the reduction in my water bill.
