**Q: How often to replace?**
A: May need to replace twice a year.  Ours was checked and we can get another six months out of ours.  The filters are about 5” thick.  This is a great buy!  Good luck!

A: This is a quick box filter, which ships flat and, can be set up as a box filter quickly by following the instructions on the side of the filter.

**Q: These cost an arm and a leg! i'm looking for a filter that will fit the quick box - part # flrqb5fr17m11 size: 16.7 x 26 x 4.7 . any recommendations?**
A: I would not know if this filter will fit your unit.  It is about 5” thick. I was happy to find them on Amazon and they were approved by the company that installed our Trane A/C. last year.  They may need changing in the summer and fall.  Ours has held up well.  We will be getting a full year out of ours.  Hope this helps!
