I have to snap the can opener open, reset the opener, then go over the same spot. I am not sure why. I've tried to be gentle, tried being tough, but it does not cut well. I feel like an idiot trying to make it work. Not really sure what I am doing wrong. Return date has passed. I will have to buy new one. Had to use the old $1.29 can opener which finished the job.One of the reasons I bought this atrocity was because it said that it was easy to turn and good for arthritic hands.
