It's ultra thin so it doesn't provide much of protection for the screen however it has a slight rise at the four corners at the front. Update after using the case daily for a week now it no feels slippery at all and it's very comfortable in the hand. Only thing I don't like is that the buttons are to press because of the button cut out.
