I usually only purchase quite expensive hair care brands because my hair is an absolute mare and does not like or behave itself with certain products; I have fine strand, but thick, highlighted mid waste length blonde hair that takes some kind of maintenance & upkeep as it tends to get really frizzy Arghh!!:).. Washed my hair this morning using only this shampoo; and whilst it didn't lather up like my fave well known blonding purple pigment salon brand, for example, we live in a hard water area and I struggle with the lather up + mineral deposits to maintain a platinum blonde colour and clean hair feel..not only did it give me excellent results, it has definately worked for me in toning up and cancelling some of the brassiness we get from our old copper pipes and mineral deposits water source. My hair feels soft, feels good in texture and looks good in tone. I am not saying this is the 'holy grail' of shampoos but for a budget blonding shampoo it's pretty amazing with a great deeper violet pigmented toner than you may find in more expensive brands :).
