The 1-1/4" cam can be installed at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions with a 90 degree turn. The stop cam is reversible so that the lock key can either be turned to the right or left to open. The cylinder diameter is standard at 3/4". The small cam lock is constructed of zinc alloy and is chrome plated. The hex nut, cam, screw and keys are all steel with chrome plating. Secure Keyway The tubular cam lock is keyed alike (all keys to all the locks you buy will work with each on all of your locks) with 7 pin security. It is also non-key retaining - The key can be removed in the locked and unlocked positions. We have to keep resetting it because it quits working for her after a day or so.It’s as easy to install as any door handle. It talks to you and it is fairly easy to figure out how to set it up.It has keys for a back up in case it doesn’t recognize your print. It has always done fine for me, but my wife has to get out the key until we reset it.It can be set to be always unlocked if you want and then easily change it to be locked again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy peasy *by L***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2023* Very easy to install. I timed it and it took 25 minutes to install and that included the 2 minutes out to to cut open the plastic packaging, looking for the right tools (which is an appropriate sized Phillips) removing the old handle, putting the batteries in and registering a fingerprint! My fingerprint has worked every time as long as I pull the handle up instead of down. I know there is a way to adjust since it is made for both right and left doors but I'm fine with it so I will leave it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ be ware cap can miss battery wiring *by A***C on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2023* I was very happy and excited to start using it..
