Several reviewers here on Amazon have had this ... *by T***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2017* Item: "50 Ritek Ridata 8X DVD-R 4.7GB White Inkjet Hub Printable" was ruptured and had all of the dvds beaten and scattered by the other items. The other items were fine. Several reviewers here on Amazon have had this happen also. The cellophane wrappers that Ridata places on these is not well suited to shipment as it ruptures all to easily. I am not at all happy about having to accept only a percentage of what was paid for but do not wish to attempt exchange and will leave (another) warning for others because it leaves a given number of the DVD's useless. Perhaps prime members receive additional care for packages like these? As I have only removed one star for the cellophane related damage and I am going to use the ones that appear undamaged without an exchange ( same process all over again??) I feel it to be justified as valid review issue. In closing i will add that if it were not for the fact that I (like many others) greatly prefer these DVD's and are simply seeking a way to obtain them undamaged rather than bashing the product itself. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems good *by R***Y on Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2011* This seems to be the same high quality RITEK/RiDATA media that I've been using for years with great success. Not matching the red packaging pictured these made in Taiwan these discs came in the white packaging that appears to match item DRD-478-RDP-IWNCB5 on the RITEK website [...]I've seen Ritek media bundled in a few different color/types of packaging over the years but have never noticed any difference between them.The raw cake bundle came packed with only a thin plastic packing air bladder which wasn't enough to keep it from breaking apart in shipping. A couple loose blanks got scratched in shipping. A couple discs seemed to have slight surface scuffs possibly from poor handling at the factory? I don't know if these were enough to interfere with the burns but I set them aside for now. None of the discs seemed to have any actual manufacturing defects.I've duped 40 of these discs so far in a Plextor burner without incident. I've occasionally spot checked the burns in a 15 year old Apex DVD player and my laptop and so far so good. I deliver to the client this week so I'll post back if there are any problems reported. SO far I would suggest this as a good product at a good price and would buy again. I only wish the packing for shipping was slightly better. A few crumpled pieces of paper would have probably been sufficient.Overall I'd give it a 4.5. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent good priced quality DVD's *by N***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2015* I have been using Ridata DVD's for years now and I can't recall ever having a failure either burning or a failure after burning. I use DVD's to archive all my data, music, videos etc. I like the printable surface so I can permanently label them with my inkjet printer and don't have to mess with paper labels..
