Very strong. It holds everything I need to carry very neatly and the zip compartment completely buries my iPad Mini which nice, and I know I’ve plenty of space if I want to, sometime in the future upgrade to the next model I will still be able to carry it.The little pockets in the zip compartment hold a packet of box sweets and my iPod along with a cleaning cloth nice and snugged. The front compartment easily holds a bottle of water and a shopping bag and there is still room to place, say a packet of batties. The strap is easy to adjust so the bag sits nicely on my left thigh and it does not dig or irritate mt right shoulder in anyway. The snaps on the flap hold it close very well even when the front compartment is a little full, they still nicely snap shut.
