Our flavor of choice in 2"in rigid galvanized pipe. This cutter, I have been using for 10 years and just now replaced with a shiny new one. Still cuts like a hot knife through butter. A little tip, do not CRANK the jaws. The natural motion around the pipe is more than enough to easily cut in about 10 spins. For that heavy a pipe, a hand cutter would normally take much more and wear you and the cutting-die blade out very quickly.
