Even if the curtain rings already glide, this makes it even easier and much quieter ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well with my hotel-style shower curtain *by M***G on December 20, 2024* The tape is .8 mm thick. It has has a clear layer on top that is not removed. It juts out a little beyond the adhesive; this is by design to prevent contact with the soft stuff underneath. I used this for my curved shower curtain rod. Bending the tape along a curve made the inner edge ripple a little. I was feeling skeptical while installing it, but the tape worked like a charm. The curtain pulls smoothly and doesn't get stuck at all. My rod has a mild curve, being offset by 6" at the middle. Some rods have a deeper curve, so "your mileage may vary". It's pretty difficult to remove the red strip covering the adhesive. It took me two minutes with a razor blade. The included shears are helpful for precisely trimming the end. Installation on a pre-hung rod was medium difficulty. If you're older or have trouble balancing, you might want to get help with this.
