It’s a tad heavy but super strong the ramp is a good weight and folds vertical or flat depending on what you are carrying, big tick! I have a mobility scooter which goes on quite easily but just wish it was made to be 120cm in length. Also I found it a little low to the ground when on a gradient, however I overcame this by buying an offset 2 inch receiver adapter which raises the whole thing approximately 6 inch higher. Don’t know why we don’t see more of these as they are a lot easier to store than a trailer plus it overcomes the tip bylaws of no trailers. W Broadley. You're just going to have to wing it. **Q: Reinforced part of the hitch installed facing up or down?** A: I sent mine back, because it was poorly made. **Q: Do i need to have a trailer hitch installed on my car first?** A: You will need a 2 inch hitch on your car rated to handle the weight of the carrier plus the weight of what you will be carrying **Q: How far off the ground is it?** A: On my 2004 Toyota it is 12 inches to the ground. I have checked and you can get a receiver that will raise up to 6 inches if you need the additional raise.
