Review: BASSWOOD: CARVING FISHING LURES - Zero 0️⃣ experience with Basswood and carving but decided to try my hand at a wooden fishing 🐟lure made of this Basswood and created with only using the VICTORINOX TINKER shown in the photos. The wood 🪵 is of excellent quality, perfect sizing for my project, and for about $8 💰 it represents a good value. Note to novices: pick a block that is closest in size to your ultimate goal and Basswood is much more difficult to carve with a folding knife than I expected. Might have to break out the DREMEL for the finishing touches. This is a premium product and will update the review after painting the lure and it is ready to fish 🐟. Hope this review helps! Update: 1st basswood lure complete and 2nd in production. Hope this inspires you to give a project a shot. ☮️ 🎣
