Review: Great Weather Station with Lots of Features - I'm always wanting to know what temperature it is and what the weather is going to be like. I don't know why, I just do. Recently I bought a cheap little gadget that showed indoor temperature and humidity percentage. But that wasn't enough. So I purchased this one and I've been very happy I did! Easy to set up (there's several buttons on back for each function). With a quick tap on top, the screen lights up (you can see it without the light as well). and reveals the time, humidity, barometric pressure graph (still learning how to read that part), a little graphic that shows the weather trend - sunshine, sun with clouds, rain, snow, etc. As I've gotten this in June, I haven't seen the snow graphic yet! But what I really love about this is there's a monitor to put outside. So at the bottom of the main screen, you not only have the temp and humidity inside, you have it for outside as well! Excellent!! We find ourselves checking it all the time. Another brilliant feature is that it has an alarm when frost is due so you can bring your plants in!! Looks nice on a table. You can hang it up on the wall or use the picture frame type back to put it on a table. This would make an excellent gift for someone or yourself. I recommend it!
Review: Display lets it down - I bought this to update an existing LCD weather station which I keep in my living room about 10ft or so from where I usually sit. Operation-wise this is a pretty good little unit. It was no trouble to set up and get it talking to the outdoor sensor and the radio signal for accurate time popped up at the first attempt. I like the fact that the date format can be changed to UK as so many of these units leave you with the MM/DD format - just a pet hate of mine :) If the unit was in line-of-sight I think the constantly flashing forecast and atmospheric pressure bars would grate after a while but as a typical male, I haven't read the manual yet so maybe there is a way to change this part of the display. Ah yes, the display. This is what lets this little unit down as it is overly dark and I haven't found any setting to change it thus far. In normal lighting, I find it hard to read from more than around 6-7ft away. When the backlight is On, the display is great. Pity it wasn't mains powered so that you could perhaps set it to 'backlight' mode all the time. In situ, I can read my existing cheapo unit perfectly well - it's screen size is exactly the same as this AOKI unit - but it's a struggle to read this one at times. The glass front shows a lot of reflection which makes it even harder. I'll probably keep it as a spare because the functionality is just what I was after. It's just a shame that the display isn't a bit brighter and clearer so a star gets dropped for that.

I'm always wanting to know what temperature it is and what the weather is going to be like. I don't know why, I just do. Recently I bought a cheap little gadget that showed indoor temperature and humidity percentage. But that wasn't enough. So I purchased this one and I've been very happy I did! Easy to set up (there's several buttons on back for each function). With a quick tap on top, the screen lights up (you can see it without the light as well). and reveals the time, humidity, barometric pressure graph (still learning how to read that part), a little graphic that shows the weather trend - sunshine, sun with clouds, rain, snow, etc. As I've gotten this in June, I haven't seen the snow graphic yet! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Elegant, multiple functions and very easy to read

This is an elegant time/weather station with a wide range of useful functions, and a clear, easy to read display, with back lighting – real value for money. And the set-up is swift and automatic on inserting the batteries in both the main station and in the outdoor sensor. I have not had it long enough truly to test how weatherproof the case is under extreme conditions, but it certainly fits tightly. Excellent.
