This has meant that video and even audio MS Teams calls with work colleagues have been prone to failure and drop outs when I’m in a room away from the router. Annoying! This cable (7 metres) has allowed me to move my router to a much more central position in the house in the stairwell, away from electronic equipment. It was a simple task to pull the existing cable out of the port and the router and screw in the new one. The connectors are good quality and fit perfectly. Helpfully the cable is thin enough that I can fit it under a door and it comes with cable clips to attach the cable to skirting board if that is your preference. And as others have found, no loss of broadband speed (I’m running at around 400Mbps which is about average for me) and a massively improved WiFi experience all around the house. I can even have MS Teams calls now without losing connection… which is a bit of a shame as it was a useful excuse for ending some of those boring calls! I used the cable to be able to put my router downstairs as a so called router update from virgin was way to loud with the fan at night so having it in my bedroom required me to move the router.
