It's great for reducing the frequency of flare-ups (I really hate waking up with painfully hot cheeks, and I think most will share the sentiment), but it does not seem to have any apparent effect on the actual color of my face. It hasn't toned down the redness and hasn't improved texture as it says in the description. It isn't greasy, however, and it glides on very smoothly. I would recommend splashing your face with some water and then using a damp washcloth to wipe away excess water before applying as that gives the product more lather than if you apply on dripping wet skin. You only need about a quarter sized amount for your whole face, so it lasts a long time.
