Although water can run through the soft mesh arm pocket it will need to be properly dried afterwards. Hope this helps. **Q: Can this be washed?** A: Hi there, yes most certainly it can be machine washed and ideally at 40 degrees. It is best to place the entire sling in a net wash bag. Doing so avoids the velcro from damaging other items of clothing. Alternatively, remove/unclasp the velcro crocodile clip from the end of the neck strap and make sure the other velcro element at the cuff is fastened down before washing with other clothes. The sling is colourfast but we recommend washing with other coloureds. To adjust your arm height, simply peel back the Velcro brand fastener from the neck-strap - find the level you want your arm to be held at then re-stick the velcro back down onto the strap. If you find that the neck strap is too long, you can completely remove (peel off) the velcro clip from the end of the strap. This allows you to cut off as much as you need to get the fit you want then reattach the clip. Hope this is helpful. **Q: Is the raspberry/black sling red or pink?
