Review: The BEST compared to others. - This is an amazingly effective versatile NAS. For what you get it is very cost effective. The company got 4 different NAS brands including the Q and S which we use on our 5 servers. This NAS outperforms all the other brands that cost 3 times more. After months of testing it now earned the 1st place crown and it is used as our main security data server. This Asustor is our 3de and we are so impressed with performance and ease of use that we are going to replace the other high end NAS systems with this exact model
Review: The Best NAS - This NAS was the best NAS and glad that I purchased it. I replaced my My Cloud with this NAS, very customizable and remote access is the best. Expandable and the value is unbeatable.

### ⭐ Junk, Bad product and Bad customer service. Buy Synology
*by J***B on June 19, 2026*

I bought this Jan 29th, and now the fans on this server is not working called Asustor and told me to start a ticket. They take forever to answer, I get one reply a day. Phone support is useless. They now sent me an RMA and won't pay for me to send the server to them to get fixed even though its their product defect. I did not get any reply from them yesterday so I checked again today to see if they would pay for the shipping or just return my money and keep their junk and I got a notice they are unavailable till the 21st. So I am without a server since the 11th, glad I have my synology still running. I have had 2 synology since 2012 and have had no issues with them to date. I was hesitant to buy this but loved all the extras and now I am paying for this chinese junk. Will update if things improve. RIght now a big Zero star for Asus and Asustor products won't be buying their products anymore. Mr Jeffrey Wong is a very bad customer Represantative withe a bad attitude. Did nothing to help take care of the problem I had with the server I bought less than 4 months ago. I been in touch since June 11th and he kept blaming Rep Victor for not telling me that I have to pay to ship the server to them to get it fixed even though it was a defective product that I should not have to pay to ship after spending 2000$ buying it. He kept saying the RMA states you have to pay for it and would not do anything to correct the problem. He than accused me of being disrepectfull when I stated the facts that any good company would do whatever it take to fix the problem and keep their customers happy if their product was defective. I also asked him if there was anyway I could get my money back and I would take the loss to ship the server back to him. He than closed the ticket stating I was not willing to be co-operative and shipped me a fan with a youtube video to install it and did not state if me opening the system would avoid my warranty.I wish I could return this to Amazon but the return window has closed. This is a typical chinese company with bad customer service and bad product. They will not stand behind their product will do anything to not fix their defective products. Will make accusations, if that does not work will just close the ticket and leave you on your own. I will never buy another Asus product ever again, do recommend their products. Under their Warranty this is what is states: Additional Notes: Unless prohibited by law, customers are responsible for the shipping of RETURNED ITEMS to ASUSTOR. Shipments must contain a tracking number. For models with a five year warranty, please refer to the following link: Product Support Status | ASUSTOR NAS. I am not returning it, I am sending it for repair so they can fix their defected product. So now you see how Asus takes care of their customers. They sell defective products and then try to make you pay to get it fixed. So now i am stuck with this junk, I should have bought a Synology had 2 of those never had a problem. On paper this looked good so I got it now I am paying for it. Do not make the same mistake do buy Asus products.
