I have a Xeon 1650 v4 in it. Boots, recognized PCIe devices, SSD, etc. The VRM were at 112c within a few minutes of booting up, though! (In a system with x5 120mm case fans) Pros: -Automatically recognized the 4 sticks of RAM and went in to quad channel. -Sturdy CPU socket -POST (the barest of minimums) Cons: -The board is kinda short, so the pins for your front panel connectors and such are too close. Even a modest 2 slot GPU nearly covers them and blocks them enough you can't use some of them. -The aforementioned VRM temps. -The only 4-pin fan connection is for the CPU. The system fan headers are 3-pin. I circumvented this by putting all the system fans and the CPU fan on to one SATA-powered hub and plugged that in to 4-pin CPU fan connection. All in all, it's an adequate budget motherboard for X99 that supports quad channel memory.
