Review: Great double bin - sleek and keeps the odors away - I recently got this bin to help comply with new compost rules and let me tell you - money well-spent! We use one side for compost, one side for regular trash and have really enjoyed the design of this bin in particular. It has a soft close, easy step pedals and removable bin inserts on each side which will help keep it clean. I wanted to knock off 1/2 a star for the noise it makes when it slams against the wall but...that's more a factor of where I chose to put it, not the product's fault. That said - the lids open all the way past 90 degrees and quickly, so keep that in mind if you put it against a wall/cabinet. Lastly, this completely contains any odor from the compost and keeps things clean in the kitchen. Very satisfied!

I recently got this bin to help comply with new compost rules and let me tell you - money well-spent! We use one side for compost, one side for regular trash and have really enjoyed the design of this bin in particular. It has a soft close, easy step pedals and removable bin inserts on each side which will help keep it clean. I wanted to knock off 1/2 a star for the noise it makes when it slams against the wall but...that's more a factor of where I chose to put it, not the product's fault. That said - the lids open all the way past 90 degrees and quickly, so keep that in mind if you put it against a wall/cabinet. Lastly, this completely contains any odor from the compost and keeps things clean in the kitchen. Very satisfied!

We were looking for a dual trash container with a recycling bin and this fit the bill. It provides a clean sleek look in our kitchen. The bins look small, but they are deep and hold quite a bit of trash. The tops open independently by stepping on a foot pedal.
