Streamlight has nailed it, bumping this up to 1000 lumens from the old TLR-7 Subs 500 lumens. Comes with both high and low switches.... personally i prefer the high ones. Light was a little tricky to install on the pistol at first but it finally popped into the notch on the pistols rail and then was easily tightened down. It locks into place very well. Sits on my 43X perfectly. Battery is easy to install and remove thru the front of the light body by remove the lense. Light doesn't really add much weight really. When it's in the holster on your belt you really don't notice the extra weight of the light. Light works flawlessly out of the box.
