I guess it depends which part of your back is curved. I wear it daily and, having got used to it, wear the belt from the time I get dressed in the morning to late evening. I wear it over my clothes, which I find more comfortable. Obviously if I have to go to the toilet I take it off but then replace it immediately. I don't wear it when I go out as it is quite bulky under clothes but will wear it for a while before going out and as soon as I get home.
