And it holds me fine. **Q: Is the seat a cushion or is mesh like the back? Hard to tell from the angles.** A: No it is not mesh like the back. It does have a thin cushion on the seat. **Q: Does the chair rock back when you lean back, is it stationary, or does it have the option to do either?** A: Yes the chair rocks back. And yes it can lock so it is stationary. But even in the locked position there is still movement. It will rock backwards about an inch. **Q: How deep is the seat? I'm considering it for my son who has long legs and I want to make sure it extends far enough to support them.** A: The depth of the seat is 20" from back to front. I am at my desk most of the day for work and needed a more comfortable, ergonomic chair that was supportive to my back. My 15 year old put it together for me in just a few minutes. The mesh is nice and thick and feels great on the back while curving to spine and offering support. You can easily adjust the height of the arm rests and flip them up completely. Nice tilt, easy to adjust height, and a sleek stylish look. It was more than I expected, especially at the price. I would highly recommend this chair. To top it off it arrived in two days and shipped for free.
