But be sure to close the valve first and place the spike on top of the open water bottle then invert it QUICKLY or else you'll have a watery mess to clean up. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works but not the best design *by N***T on January 27, 2025* The media could not be loaded. These do work. However the design is a little flawed in my opinion. I understand they did the design this way so multiple size bottle openings could fit but it’s a bit precarious due to the inability to secure the bottle to the drip piece. It does work BUT you need to balance well or have some support depending on the bottle size. I suppose if you were using tiny little water bottles it wouldn’t be an issue but a normal size or larger bottle is just a bit difficult to use. I used an old creamer bottle for one and it does work as long as I have it supported a bit so it doesn’t topple off. I like this size for amount of water it holds.I found the best method was filling the piece with water and then adjusting my drip rate. Once I had the drip rate adjusted I could fill my bottle, place the piece on top, then flip and put into the potted plant. The nozzle is a bit tricky to adjust so you might have to play around with it a bit.Ultimately they do work and the value for the amount is good. You just might not love the way they install and you have to do a little extra to keep secure. Probably wouldn’t buy again but will make this wet work vs returning cause they do function. Just not as user friendly as I’d hoped for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Steady, reliable drip irrigation at a reasonable cost *by D***D on February 3, 2025* These do a reasonably good job at a very fair price.
