The new model fixes the frustrations we had, and I wish I'd bought the new pair sooner. They are very easy to adjust. They stay on my 7 month old baby's head very well. The ear cups are lower profile which made feeding baby much easier. My baby was so much happier wearing these (and I was less stressed without having to wrestle baby to keep the muffs on)! The angle of the straps were why I bought these and they really make for a great fit. The strap is also very soft, it didn't irritate my girls very sensitive skin. Definitely worth spending a little more for this product.
